Getting started

Is there a free trial?

Yes — every new account starts with a 14-day free trial. No credit card required. The trial includes 3 job openings, up to 10 candidates, and full access to the platform including AI candidate comparison, so you can experience the complete workflow before committing.

How quickly can I get my first report?

Once you create an opening and send the intake link to a candidate, the report is ready the moment they finish their session — typically within 15 to 20 minutes of starting. There is no manual step on your end.

Is there any setup required?

No. You create an account, set up a job opening, and share the link. Curo handles everything from there — the conversation, the scoring, the report. There is nothing to install and no technical configuration.

Pricing & billing

What counts as a candidate?

A candidate is counted when they start an intake session. If a candidate begins but does not finish, the session still counts toward your monthly limit. Completed and incomplete sessions are shown separately in your dashboard.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes. There are no contracts or lock-in periods. You can cancel from your account settings at any time and you will retain access until the end of your current billing period. We do not charge cancellation fees.

Are there per-report or per-candidate charges?

No. Pricing is flat monthly — you pay one amount and use the platform up to your plan limits. There are no additional charges per report, per download, or per client.

How does Enterprise pricing work?

Enterprise is priced per conversation with us based on the size of your team, your candidate volume, and the features you need. It includes custom branding, 3 recruiter seats on a shared dashboard, and dedicated onboarding. Contact us to get a quote.

The platform

What languages does Curo support?

Currently English and Dutch. Curo detects the candidate's language automatically — no setup required from the recruiter. Additional languages are on the roadmap. If you need a specific language prioritised, let us know via the contact form.

Can candidates complete the session on their phone?

Yes. The intake experience is built for mobile from the ground up. Candidates open the link in their browser — no app download required. It works on iOS, Android, and any modern mobile browser.

Does Curo need a CV to work?

Curo works best when candidates upload their CV at the start — it uses the CV to tailor questions to their specific background. However, the intake can still run without one. In that case, Curo asks broader discovery questions before probing for competency evidence.

How does the 5-tier scoring work?

Every competency is evaluated on a scale from Tier 1 (Claimed — no supporting evidence) to Tier 5 (Systemic — evidence of impact at an organisational or strategic level). Tiers are assigned only when the candidate's answers meet the evidence criteria for that level. Vague or unsupported claims stay at Tier 1.

Data & security

Is candidate data secure?

Yes. All data is encrypted at rest and in transit. Candidate reports are only accessible to the recruiter who owns the opening — they are never shared across accounts, and we never sell or share data with third parties.

Is Curo GDPR compliant?

Yes. Candidate data is processed with consent obtained during the intake flow, stored securely, and subject to deletion on request. Our full data handling policy is available in the Privacy Policy.

How long is candidate data stored?

Candidate session data and reports are retained for as long as your account is active. If you close your account, data is deleted within 30 days. Individual candidate data can be deleted at any time from your dashboard.
